If your Alienware X51 computer freezes when you plug in your Oculus Rift, try updating your BIOS to version 1.2.6.

If you’re not hearing audio when you use your Oculus Rift on your Alienware Area 51 computer, check to make sure your audio is enabled.

To check if your audio is enabled:

1. Right click the volume icon in the bottom right of your PC computer.
2. Select Playback Devices and look for Rift Audio.
3. Right click Rift Audio to check if it’s enabled. If it’s disabled, select Enable.
