Oculus Rift S with Roomscale works best with a safe, unobstructed play area of at least 6.5 feet by 6.5 feet (2 meters by 2 meters).

Beginning 1/14/2020, we will officially stop supporting the Rift platform on Windows 7 and 8.1 to align with Microsoft’s announcement of ending support for Windows 7. As previously announced in June 2018, Windows 10 is now the minimum required operating system spec for the Rift platform and we encourage everyone who isn’t already running Windows 10 to upgrade. Windows 10 will enable us to deliver the best performance and latest advancements, while aligning with industry standards.

Your Oculus Rift S uses USB 3.0 and DisplayPort connectors to connect to your computer. We've listed the different options that you can and can't use to connect your Rift S below:
We recommend reviewing our list of Oculus Ready Certified PCs when looking for a new Rift S compatible PC and/or laptop.
We've stopped manufacturing the original Oculus Rift, but are continuing to work on PC VR with Oculus Rift S. Rift and Rift S run on the same core platform, so both devices will be fully supported with regular updates and releases.
Oculus Rift owners will continue to have access to the same Rift and Rift S store. This includes any new content coming in the future, and any titles or experiences that you purchased previously will remain in your library.
Oculus will continue to provide service and support for all Oculus Rift devices that are within warranty, including replacements if needed.

How refunds and replacements work.
If you purchase a product from the Oculus site and your payment method hasn't been charged yet, you can cancel your order.
To cancel your order:
If you have any trouble with the steps above, you can contact Oculus Support to cancel your order.
If you ordered a product from the Oculus site and your payment method has been successfully charged, the order can no longer be canceled. If your product has already shipped, you may request a return for a refund.

If you have a problem with your Oculus device and you're not able to solve it by visiting the Support Center, try contacting Oculus Support to see if you need additional service.
If you’re looking for replacement parts and accessories, and your Oculus device is not eligible for warranty support, they are available for purchase here.
When contacting Oculus Support to determine if you need additional service, we will work closely with you to troubleshoot your issue and determine the appropriate service solution:
If we think you need a replacement and your device is under warranty, you may need to send back your entire device bundle.
Please do not ship anything back until you've received final confirmation from your Oculus Support team member of exactly what needs to be returned.

It usually takes about 8 to 12 business days from the time you ship your Oculus device back to us, we receive it and then send the replacement back to you.
Keep in mind shipping and delivery times may vary based on your region, holidays and weather conditions.
Oculus Quest order troubleshooting.
Once your Oculus device has shipped from the Oculus store, you won’t be able to change the shipping address.
We recommend checking to make sure your order information is correct before submitting it. Keep in mind Oculus isn't responsible for orders lost due to incorrect shipping details.
If the shipping address you entered for your Oculus device in the Oculus Store is invalid, the following may be causing the issue:

When you buy things in the Oculus Store, we send authorization requests to your bank or payment provider to verify your payment method.
If we’re not able to authorize your payment method, try these troubleshooting tips:
If you bought an Oculus device in the Oculus store and you’re having a problem with your delivery, contact Oculus Support.
If your order was refused or wasn’t delivered to the address you entered when checking out, a refund will be issued to your payment method after the device is sent back to us.
