Some of the key features that differentiate Oculus Quest 2 from Oculus Quest include:
Display resolution: The Quest 2 display has 50% more pixels than the original Quest for enhanced clarity, and will support a 90-Hz refresh rate in the future.
Form factor: The Quest 2 headset is smaller and lighter than Quest. The Oculus Touch controllers have been redesigned for better ergonomics and more closely resemble the popular Oculus Rift controllers.
Performance: Quest 2 is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Platform and has 6 GB of RAM for improved performance.
Customization: Quest 2 launches with a full suite of optional accessories, including the Elite Strap, Elite Strap With Battery, and Fit Pack that provide more choices for fit and comfort.
To set up your Oculus Quest 2, you'll need a smartphone with the Oculus companion app. The minimum OS requirements for phones to run the Oculus companion app are:
Apple iOS 10+
Android 5.0+
Once you finish the initial set up, you'll be able to do everything in your Oculus Quest 2 headset.

We won't collect any payment for your pre-order until your Oculus Quest 2 is being prepared for shipment.
We will start delivering Oculus Quest 2 on October 13th. You’ll be able to see an estimated delivery date for your Quest 2 in your cart at checkout.
If you purchase a product from the Oculus site and your payment method hasn't been charged yet, you can cancel your order.
To cancel your order:
Log into your account.
If you checked out as a guest, click here to access your guest account.
Click on My Orders from the left menu.
Select the order you want to cancel.
Locate the option Do you want to cancel this order?.
If you do not see this option, the order has already processed and can no longer be canceled.
Select your reason for cancellation from the dropdown menu.
Click Cancel Order.
If you have any trouble with the steps above, you can contact Oculus Support to cancel your order.
If you ordered a product from the Oculus site and your payment method has been successfully charged, the order can no longer be canceled. If you have already received your Oculus product, you can contact Oculus Support to return it for a refund.
Keep the following things in mind if you return your Oculus device for a refund:
We’ll issue a refund for Oculus devices returned within 30 days from when your order shipped.
You’ll receive a refund to your payment method once your Oculus device has been returned and inspected.
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Note: If you bought your Oculus device from a retail store, you’ll need to visit the store you bought it from to request a refund.
