Oculus Rift Public Test Channel
Before we make our software available to everyone, we put it through a variety of tests in an effort to ensure there are no major issues. The Oculus Public Test Channel Program is an opportunity for our community to test pre-release builds of the Oculus software, and join in to help with the process. Together we can work to build better features and updates, and we look forward to hearing your suggestions, issues you report, and feedback on new features and changes.
You can choose to join the Public Test Channel anytime, and by enrolling, you'll be given the option to report any issues you encounter while testing potential changes. You can also choose to leave the program anytime after you've enrolled. Keep in mind enrolling in the Public Test Channel means you'll be testing a beta version of the Oculus software that isn't a finished product, so you may encounter issues ranging from minor issues to app crashes. If you run into any issues that cause discomfort or safety features to stop working (example: Guardian), we recommend you stop using your Rift S or Rift or use it with caution.
